Consolido la grandezza
Che fu e sarà nazione mio,
Lavoro-tutti giorni e notti,
Con tutto amore ed eccelenza
E farai il tu destino!
Forgerò mia patrimonia eternale,
Solo con mia inspirazione,
Desio mie sorelle vivere in felicità ed onore,
Sotto le stelle immortale.
Sono il paladino che l’amore
Ha accendato fuochi
Nella profondità di tuo cuore,
Che ora mi accendono
Con un nuova destino
Cogli arnesi pronto, ed il fuoco forte:
Vengo, all’opra che mi sta aspettando,
Sono l’avanguardia della prosperità,
Che sfida tutta
Per la speranza della mia gente.
Coltivo i campi intorno a me
Cogli sogni di miei patrii,
Con falce nella mano
Lavoro meno qualunque
Paura o dubbio.
Con falce nella mano
Farò la patria mia
Non per mia propria gloria,
Ma per la felicità di miei fratelli!

| Your poems seem good, wish I could understand them :-( but when I tried to read a loud, they sounded very nice :-) I am sure they mustn't be less than a masterpiece! |
