MY MAGIC CARPET

Hop on my magic carpet, dear.
I'll take you for a ride.
How great it will be to travel,
With you here by my side.
First we'll zoom to Paris,
The capital of France
Maybe along the boulevards,
We'll find a place to dance
.
Would you like to go to Switzerland,
And ski the slopes with me?
We'll try their great hot chocolate,
Or maybe a cup of tea.
Next we'll fly to Germany.
Berlin would be just fine.
There we'll find a little cafe
And sip a glass of wine.
We'll have to visit St. Peter's Church,
The largest church in Rome,
Where we'll say our prayers for everyone,
And then we'll zoom back home.

| What a lovely poem! While reading I was smiling all the time. Really enjoyed it thoroughly. You have rhymed it very nicely and created/showed an interesting scenario for us to be in it and take a ride of the magic carpet for a while :-) Good work! |
