My Junior year of high school is nearly done
I think of the girl whose heart I have won
Is this a dream, a figment or lie?
Why has time passed so quickly by?
I'm still young, despite what they say
I get more immature, day by day
I've found a path, it's taken so long
But it makes me wanna break out into song!
There still is so much left to see
I'm beginning to realize that life isn't free
Could it be that I am amiss?
Or has life found me with a subtle kiss?
So I'll continue to travel afar
WIth the help of my shiny red car!

very well done. I figure you were a young man, so live your life as you want now. Have fun, and enjoy all those times to be immature, but still learning life's lessons from your eyes. I'll be turning 40 this year, and still I learn and have fun. I'm breaking out again in life and cannot beleive how much fun it is to be feeling like a kid again, although, my bones, say different!!! :)
Good write
AMber Rose :) |

Youth is wasted on the young!
(except perhaps, you). |
