Love Unlike Any Other

Contributed by stargazer on Sunday, 1st June 2003 @ 09:35:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

She loved him unlike
anyone could ever love.
He cherished her life,
as if it was his own.
Looking into each others eyes,
was all that made sense.
When he couldn't hold her-
he would go insane.
When she could not kiss his lips
she felt so alone.
She thanked him everyday
for letting her be the one he chose.
He apologized to her every night
for not realizing his love sooner.
It was girl and boy...
it was man and women...
it was two hearts in love.

They were not only lovers,
but also best friends.
She trusted him with her life
and he trusted her enough to sleep with her.
It hurt to know they could love this much...
and were only falling harder.
He would cry when he saw her
and she would cry when he left.
Their emotions were going hay wire.
Everyone said that would be together,
forever...
and a day.
And they would be.

They did not need to say they loved each other,
that was obvious in other ways.
He would hold her until he fell asleep
or until the moon shone bright.
She would get lost in his eyes,
every time he looked in her direction.
Everyone around them knew they were not falling in love,
they were already in over their heads.
He loved watching her, touching her, being with her...
and all the while it hurt thinking about tomorrow.
She got lost in his every touch, breath... move-
and feared what would happen next.
They were constantly on the edge.

They never wanted anything
other than each other.
Every dream had been answered...
and lying next to each other
is where they wanted to be-
forever.
He was her shoulder to cry on
when the times got hard
and she was that blanket
to cover when he got cold.
How he felt he could not explain
and as hard as she tried,
the words never quite came out.
They were probably in to deep...
in over their heads.
But they were in love.

Still now there touch is syncronized
and their eyes locked.
Their two hearts beat as one...
and still they do not say they love each other.
They show their affection in other ways.

This is beautiful!! I have now found a love like this. I only wish my brothers were as sweet and caring to me as you are to your sister. What a wonderful brother you are. She is lucky to have you and her husband!!

Just for the note... I'm a girl. LMAO... that's okay though. Many people think I write as if I am guy... but I don't. And there is a little twist to this. My sister and her boy friend are no longer together. He moved to Florida, she stayed in Maine... the distance became to hard and they needed each other too much... you know how that goes.

Thank you everyone... Amy
