Gone

Contributed by shelby on Tuesday, 4th October 2016 @ 09:58:52 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

It felt like home to me
a cozy comfort, living zen, that wrapped me up and took me in.
A warmth of love that whispered soft
to the deepest recesses of my heart
and opened my soul to something never felt, never known
a dream within my dreams broken up just for me
and I felt it and felt me and felt you
swimming in a depth of common place
and peaceful water,heart be still.....

Then suddenly a current, seemed to tip it upside down
and a wave of mixed emotions seems to spill all around
and as the rain is pounding my heart sits heavy once more
and I wish for that peaceful place and feeling.......once more

Beautifully written poem.
I think we have all been there. The secret is to balance out the good and bad and avoid the seesaw of life/'/s woes.
Well done!

James

Hi

Very well written indeed I must say sad ending, life take us by the hand and runs, the trick is to stay upright and focused my friend, we will get scrapes from time to time but that makes us who we are be strong and God bless

Greetings

Likewise Michelle! It is good to see you posting again.

//And I felt it and felt me and felt you//...

I love this line and the emotion it stirs.

The heart is like a revolving door spinning hurt and joy leaving us to wonder what/'/s coming next. A poem containing doors and reflection. Great lines and an enjoyable read
