A Thousand Thank You`s

Contributed by RussellReinhardt on Thursday, 19th May 2016 @ 05:18:34 AM in AEST
Topic: ApologyPoetry

19-05-2016....

A thousand "thank you`s" to you my Queen.
Your reaction, such love I’ve never seen.
I`m not worthy of your forgiveness.
Although the sin was a tiny mess.
But I`m so grateful for the pardon.
You bestowed on me in our garden.

I love you with every breath in my chest,
with every beat of my heart,
with every thought in my mind,
with every cell in my body.

I gladly offer up my soul.
For only to make yours whole.
I will take up your transgressions.
This is my mission.
To plead with God.
I will bear the wrath.
For you to have eternal life.
Because I love you my dear wife.

RR

This should be done in calligraphy and framed in your kitchen, or sent to Hallmark at the very least. You are fortunate to know such love, and most wonderfully, you are proud that the world should know!
This is romance at its best.

Dear Rus,

Powerful and deep.

I love this poem.

Speaks of enduring love...a rare and beautiful thing!

Often not appreciated.

Not everybody gets a chance to make it right.

This is awesome!
