LoveRemembered

I still think about you
Those wiggly toes
and funny knees
They made you laugh when lightly brushed
You called them butterfly kisses
The flickering feeling
when
Close enough, a blinking eyelash
Swept across that freckled skin
Your photos of
this,
and that
The teddy in the phonebooth
They're gone now
Not that it matters
Hardly a memory
I use a mobile these days
I'm glad
You're gone
I'm different now
So stern and serious
You wouldn't recognise me
Not even in the dark
I wish I had seen
That troubled mind
Not so different from my own
Though I would never admit it.
