lies
half-truths
and visions
I see the words
like dark smoke
a twisting filament
through every
empty frequency
calling across
the vacuum
coming undone
breath and bones
ties and connections
sacrifice and power
words shattering
before finding
a way out
mouth folded
into a cardboard
smile
and possibilities
crouched waiting
in shadowed corners
watching
for an unraveling
layer by layer
as the void
watches me
watching it.

Well expressed, poet ming.
tongue-tied, gob-smacked, temporarily mute, just before the platitudes and drivel leak out - best to stay silent or pour forth without filter....hmmm.
too many times I recall losing the opportunity through hesitation, or mouthing vacuous nonsense - please provide a cure in your next post!

Procrastination is the child of regret. Stop watching, and sweep all those corners clean. Mouth, clearly, and send those lies and half truths away with a swift and certain wind. Let the words speak as you hear them. Passionate and encompassing. |
