fault line

Topic:
didactic

Each word a brick;
simple in form.
Cast down with little thought
other than to fit,
and fit it must.
The wall grows,
almost gleefully at first,
but with each line
dilution,
a journey.
A puzzle.
If we build
without ever changing perspective
they merge to a meaningless platform
from which
we can no longer see
all that is truly before us.
