We are Not Alone..

Contributed by softerware on Sunday, 3rd April 2016 @ 11:28:33 PM in AEST
Topic: scifi

We are blind and deaf to much
For better or for worse;
All God’s creatures see and hear
A different universe.

There are among the spectrums;
Colors we can’t see.
And on my piano keyboard;
There are sounds between the keys!

In our chains of DNA;
Lie strands we havent found.
Vibrations pitched too high or low;
For us to know the sound!

How deeply should we seek to know;
How endlessly to ask?
If having found reality;
We have to shed the mask!

Perhaps there is good reason
For these failings we lament!
A layer of limitations that
Protect our innocence?

So we wont feel that icy chill
Of someone in our space.
Or glimpse a moving shadow
Before it is erased.

Suppose the ones who left us here;
Never left at all?
But chose to stay among us;
Beyond our sight or call?

Our limited abilities;
To see or hear in kind;
Allowing them to watch us all;
Well hidden by design.

Awaiting like a parent;
For the day that were prepared
To shed our fond pretentions;
And embrace the world we share.

We are definitely not alone. I could probably go on for hours about, how should I put this, X-Files type stories, but I/'/ll resist the TIMgent for now.

Definitely a thought provoking write, this one.

Thank you.

Tim

Funny thing is, I never feel like I/'/m being watched, yet I always expect at some point in short time I will be.
The nature of tyranny, oppression and all that jazz, is that dominance in some form or another is natural instinct.

Outside that with creators, be they aliens or divine, I don/'/t think so. I mean I think there/'/s- in the sense that I hope there is, life out there, but I don/'/t buy into a lot of speculative "alien stories", but that/'/s just me.

Sometimes I think considering our nature to how we treat our own species, and even the planet itself for the sake of money, which is as much made up as points in a game, I wouldn/'/t be surprised if aliens traveled here and clean us off Earth, for fear we/'/d advance and do it them by our obviously(in some cases) self-serving instincts. Just a funny thought. Lol

I sincerely hope that I/'/m not being watched! I/'/m not a good example to many. Truthfully: written with your usual finesse, and never less than wisdom in rhyme and meter.

Now that sent a chill down my spine, because I know we are being watched by good and bad. I personally see and speak to people that have passed on. Gift or cures I don/'/t know. What I do know is we are not alone well done great write. God less my dear friend

yep, out sensorial existence puts us on the cusp of it, but there is more things in heaven and earth that are dreamt of...

the big stuff might be too big, the small stuff too small, but its not really enough to know more is there - we are built to explore and to uncover.

I do enjoy your musings and insights.

S.

I felt my spine tingle while I was reading.
Was it really my spine tingling though, or someone/'/s presence that I couldn/'/t see but only feel.
You/'/re making me wonder now.

Indeed there are things
just within our grasp
that we can not obtain,
and the watchers watch.....
