Rain falls cruelly on my face
Losing hope for any sanctity
The sun has closed his door on me
Even the moon refuses to let me see
It's hard to keep my head up
Keep my eyes open and strong
Heaviness fils them
A bird is dying to cry out
Out of me
I can't let it go, I refuse to drop my head,
I'll keep it locked up, never let it feel,
The absence of the sun
These rain drops aren't as pleasant
As they seemed, Everyon spoke so highly
Of you, but you're just making it hard
God, father,why
Why have you forsaken me,
I did as you told,
Followed your words,
Have I not been a son of worthiness,
Why do you turn your back on me,
Why do you forsake me
