Time, pulsating through each vein,
Living, breathing,
The moving of time.
The beating of a heart,
On the eternal breeze.
The beating of the sea,
A pulse to never cease.
The ticking of the eternal clock,
The changing of the sun,
The continuing of time itself.
He beating of the rain,
The continuance of breath,
The pulsing of the sea,
Each wave another captured moment.
Each new moon a sign of moving on,
Changing season and new year,
The natural moving on of "time."

let it not be said the every poet on here has no depth! A wonderful image as said above. and beautiful in its simplicity. I may also note that the way the rhythm went with the subject was magnificent. The use of repetition ideal. I would perhaps try a little assonance or alliteration, but no poem can be perfect, and it was indeed, wonderful. |
