Wishing of something far away,
A wishing well,
I dream of a place that is farther than today.
Where my baby shall dwell
Take me away,
To a far away place,
On a swing where I sway,
Holding him with grace.
Holding him,
You holding me.
Never feeling grim,
Sitting under this cherry tree.
Blue skies,
Green grass.
Your perfect eyes,
Shining like glass.
Search inside yourself,
And tell me what you find.
Will it find itself?
Just don’t be blind.
Follow this winding trail,
To a far away place where we can smile.
Or on a little boat with a yellow sail,
To a perfect paradise worthwhile.
Perfect.
The three of us.
You, me, the baby. It’s correct.
That we will be happy. Us.
But then that cruel night came,
When all my dreams were shattered.
Thinking of what he’d look like with no shame,
Until your pain came clattered.
Close my eyes.
Let the pain pass me by.
It’s not fair, that he dies,
Let me run away and die…
There is no time.
So take me too,
A place far away in time,
Where I can be happy again with you.
Let it be.
Let us be one,
Let us be free.
Let us had won.
All I wanted was a child,
A child with you,
A child worth wild.
With you.
