I could sit here and look at you from morning to night,
Cause the beauty I see in your face is such a delight.
I love those little fingers and that sweet little nose,
Surely the joy on my face must truly show.
I can't help but stare at your charms,
When you fall asleep in my arms.
I find it hard to break away,
To get on with my chores for the day.
For in your presence I want to be,
My face when you awake is what I want you to see.
How you enriched my life more than I thought could be true,
I daily thank the Lord for giving me something as precious as you.
