Cherries fallen from a nearby tree,
while leering in the distance, the edacious hunter
Slumber’s unconquered, as is destiny
Fleeting lioness she too a blunder.
Naysayers, capturing his attention
As only negatives are plausible
Trendsetters offered not a mention
As positivity often so, entirely inconceivable
So on he gathers, a harvest so tart
Fellow villagers join in ceremony
Rustling of feathers beyond the arc
As endemic vultures salivating with indignity.
Fighting with all they’ve got in symphony.
