I let go of fears and heart heavy memories embedded in my past.
Just to love you.
Held back doubts of me being good enough or suitable to your needs.
Just to love you.
Surpassed the pain of my past just so it wouldn/'/t hold me back from love.
Just to love you
Painted pretty pictures of life and love on a tormented canvas.
Just to love you
Fell...
Deep in love not knowing if you had the heart to catch me.
Because I just wanted to love you.
Nothing you could do would ever be wrong.
In my eyes you were the perfect vision of excellence.
I saw this in you.
Your excellence made me put aside your errors and lifted you high.
Placed you on the highest pedestal.
Just to love you.
Told myself that because of my past I could get no better.
Just to love you.
Said time and time again that things would be better.
Just to love you
Cried past late nights you didn/'/t come home.
Just to love you
Said to myself Nothing could ever be worst then what I/'/ve been through so I held on.
Just to love you
Dealt with inner demons that constantly told me not to trust you fought and won.
Just so that I can say I loved you
After its all said and done, the battles I faced, frustration I claimed, self pity I felt, cause my heart was the blame...
You don/'/t even LOVE me...
