America is a nation that was great in every way,
they had prayers in our schools every day,
and our kids were taught all the right way.

Now the prayers have been taken away,
and our kids and kids are allowed to mention our Lord Jesus in any way,
they say it is too offensive in every way.

Our schools are not safe today,
because our kids are taught all the wrong way,
and many have gone astray.

The police patrol our schools today,
yet many that have gone astray,
find ways to harm innocent lives in a very cruel way.

Crime is at a all time high in our great nation today,
because prayer has been taken away.

If only our people would take time to pray every day,
God would bless great nation again in a mighty way.
