I shot for the sky
hoping you/'/d come with,
but as I looked back
you fell into the abyss
Down, down, down...
you went away from me
You left me alone, very alone
through the dark I could not see
Your voice was strained
echoing through the black
Tears falling from my eyes
as my faith became slacked
Each tear drop filling my eyes
hits the air until it falls to the ground
I can/'/t help but feel bad,
that it doesn/'/t make a sound
I know this time
that you/'/re not coming with me
Because you/'/re chained to the ground
it won/'/t let you leave
