a wombats dream

Contributed by ladyfawn on Friday, 30th May 2003 @ 04:05:00 AM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

what would a wombat see if he were to dream,
stalks, skies of blue, grasses and crunchy things?
yummy sticks? dreams about another wombat?
those cute little creatures 'bout the size of a cat,
what would go 'round and 'round in his head?
perhaps the poetry only a wombat had said;
to a lady wombat once upon a time in dreams,

truely it's all speculation it seems,
for alas~

who really knows what a wombat dreams?
what would be in his mind across time?
as night breezes blew over his fur sublime,
i think his dreams might be bestrewed
about romping with his feet filled of dew,
only some simple little wombat thoughts
that every other dreaming wombat sought.

omg! this is soooo cute. very original, I really enjoyed, this, nicely done Nessa.

what in tarnation would a wombat forsee,
within the confines of a dreaming spree,
it is so humbly that I state my thought,
that a wombat must dream of not getting caught.

lol

I once had a puppy named Mary.
She lived to be 15.
When she was little I/'/d play with her in the grass and call
her baby wombat.....she was my best buddy....
Tearing up...:(
