Within Four Solid Walls.

Entombed within
four solid walls,
I soon begin
to hear the falls.
I soon begin to
smell the scents:
The sweetest scents
of rare incense.
I soon will see
the world’s beauty,
I see it in
entirety.
I see the falls,
I see the smoke,
I see the walls,
in their dark cloak.
This feeling that
comes over me,
I can’t describe,
even to me.
I’ve found myself,
but none too soon.
I’ve woken up,
from this deep swoon.
