I/'/m thinking about asking you to pack up your stuff.
The way your life has sunk it/'/s teeth into mine leaves me wondering just how much I would lose if you were to just rip away.
But you won/'/t because this is a bite to hold on.
Hold on to here. Hold on to now. Hold on to me.
But your bite is hurting me. And you/'/re not all here, now, with me.
Elsewhere you fight demons you/'/re convinced no one else can see. And while it/'/s true, the wounds only stick when they/'/re inflicted with a sword you swing, having friends to hold them down goes a long way.
You/'/re afraid my hands will be burned by the heat of this monster, but you don/'/t know how black my hands already are.
But still, part of you is here, pinning me down, with your teeth in my neck, keeping me away from your battles.
Yes, they/'/re not mine, but neither are all these things.
So I/'/m thinking about packing up your stuff.
