How easy it is to let yourself slip
Into the clutches of one you can/'/t resist
Your mind filled to full capacity thanks to him
All the while you/'/re careful of how you act around him
Subtlety my dear girl, subtlety is the key
Enjoy the hint dropping, the pursuit of his attention
For a little goes along way
Even though it seems you have a long way to go
One last piece of insight I bid you as it will serve you well
On his charm too much try not to dwell
For life is more than fancies and appeal
Keep your priorities in mind always in the pursuit of something real

As a father, I would agree with poet Deidra_Carmichael/'/s opinion. |
