I can't do this with you, you want your cake and eat it too.
I love you so much it grows with more with each touch.
You love her
She's who you adore
I'm just pushed aside, my love for you forced to hide.
I'm sorry about all this
But I can't do this
Your so missed
My cries out your name
Your answer always the same
I miss you so much
Your love, your kiss, your touch
So I have to be strong
I've loved you for far too long
I have to set you free
Accept the fact you don't love me
To have you here
To hold you dear
I can't, my heart has shed too many tears
Too many for you
These things are impossible to undo.
If it's her you love
Then be there
Stay away from here
My heart can't handle when your around
Your the only beat it sounds
I want to be able to have you and never part
But, I can't be her and that breaks my heart.

This is so sad. It truly is so hard when you love someone and they don't love you back. Be strong.

One of the hardest things to realize.. is that if your worlds were meant to be together.. then they would be.
Nowadays, it's hard to find someone who, even if he/she realizes that you are hurting.. to at least show you some compassion or consideration to help you get through it. It's really not that hard.. so I don't understand it myself.
Are these people not capable of compassion? do they think it's a sign of weakness?
It is possible to be strong and forceful, however still show compassion to a hurting person.
My God, children do it to dolls, dogs, cats, each other.. why when we grow up do we sometimes lose it?

"I'm just pushed aside, my love for you forced to hide"
I think that line really set the whole poem. It shows how frustrated you are that he is not in love with you and how you are constantly forced to hide how you are feeling.
This is exactly what I am going through right now. My best friend Joe, well... I've fallen harder and harder for him since day one and it hurts because I am always hiding my feelings for him because he is my best friend and because I know he cares about his other girl. And it really does hurt.
And it kills when you try to get over them and they come running back. You just want them to leave you alone because you are already in too deep and in over your head. You just want to fall out of love but if they are constantly walking back into your life, that is impossible.
This poem really hit home for me. I have been trying to tell Joe... that he wants me to be there for him when he gets hurt but how come he isn't there when I get hurt by him?
Very nicely done.... Amy

This is a very touching poem. You did a nice job. Any guy would be lucky to have someone like you care for them. Keep up the goods writing.
