I was beaten black and red
Until I wished that I were dead
I was bleeding from my eyes
I made my peace, saying my goodbyes
I lay crumpled on the floor
My arms sagging, my heart torn
My breathing ragged, so alone
I couldn/'/t get up, I could not go
I bullet hole in my chest
I said my peace lay me to rest
My breath is gone, I could not go
I/'/m left here, all alone

hope this is an analogy, bullet hole to the chest is bad news for sure. I was once kicked really hard in the head and then my head was wedged between a brick wall and
someones hands while another persons fist continually pounded upon it.
There was blood in my eyes, and afterwards a giant swollen head that looked like a monster.
I have a big head, always did, I mean it is literally a big Irish head. I can take a punch, and I did.
I think that/'/s why I write poetry, but I/'/m not sure. You ain/'/t alone FireStarter. We/'/re with you man!
Peace! |
