Victims of terror

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

To the GOD who saw it all,
And to the almighty who preaches peace,
Where were you when your land was being breached ?
Don/'/t hide now even your eyes weeped.

To the parents who lost their child,
I wish you didn/'/t scold them that night,
Oh mother don/'/t cry,
Your love transcends this circle of life,
I know you want to see their smile,
And hold them one last time,

To a friend who lost another,
May your soul always remain together,
May GOD look up to you and wonder,
Why don/'/t humans pray for a friend who remembers another ?

To the lover who lost his beloved,
I cannot put your lost into words,
Your heart beats but you don/'/t feel alive,
It/'/s like everything crumbles inside,
Don/'/t stop now you must carry on,
Stay strong is all I can say,
As your lover is waiting for you on the other side of the bay,

And to the people of world,
With your faith they can rise above,
Be so generous,
That the heaven gets jealous.

I know it/'/s difficult to have faith in the higher power but then there/'/s that whole free will thing. Lots to think about.

Very thought provoking.

Thank you for a nice read and / photo 1036153111_gif.gif/// to YPDC.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
