socks in their drawer,
clothes in their place
like the range of expressions
arranged on your face
afternoon sex,
evening for sleep
friends just to visit,
the tides high or neap
chaos for others,
routines are wise
only the foolish
would so improvise
nothing bleeds over,
all to its place
each perfect sphere
in singular grace
lovers discarded,
or leave otherwise
not fit or willing, to
compartmentalise
memories recorded,
each in their place
like the pattern of tears
arranged on your face.

Love is powerful. This captures that. I mean, I think of love I never had. It has its grips on me. I enjoyed reading this.
