If Only ye Dammed

If only passion was easier to feel
And inspiration easier to come by
If only these wounds were quicker to heal
In the era which favours the fun guy
Stuck in the ring
Drinking to sleep
Craving emotion - if only to weep
Fighting a tide of lust and pretence
I never divide
I'll never repent.
If only the norm was questioned as best
And outstanders stood with the crowd
If only the cursed were loved like the blessed
And the quiet heard like the loud
Its reaching a peak now
Its waving goodbye
They cant even see it
As it passes by
Losing the fight to the tide of pretence
But favouring pride
I'll never repent.

Lovely! Reminds me of a revolution. A break from the fake. Great ride!
