Trying to see the good

Topic: Lifepoems

Torn up and thrown away
every night and every day
Leaves me in an unmistakable rift
where even I cannot lift
I try to see the good in stuff
even when its bad and super rough
But, sometimes I can't see the good in things
when I feel like I have shredded wings
They were the only things I had left
without them I am bereft
I wander, hoping only to find the good
sometimes I am mistaken, not understood

Nice one I try to always look for the good,
however, at times it is hard to see.

This poem speaks to me. It's always a positive to try and see the good in all things, in all people, but sadly, often, there is no good but trying is still a good sign of persistence, strength, and courage. Keepa writin'! Tim
