600 pounds of dogs in the bathroom

Contributed by ladyfawn on Thursday, 29th May 2003 @ 04:05:00 PM in AEST
Topic: PetPoems

600 pounds of dogs going to the bathroom with me
Well, we have more big dogs, that's only the three,
You would definitely laugh, if us you could see
When they are afraid of tornados and go in with me,
The space is not too big, and we all have to share
(And i'm lucky if i can even sit down in there)
The dogs all are smiling, tails wagging everywhere
Slobberie drool kisses on my face, toes and hair,

"Scratch my ears please, woof woof me me me"
Prissy's on my foot, mully growls at that dog in the mirror
Samantha chews tolit paper her career forever
Big brown eyes sweetly looking at me, all so clever,

In wanders the old man honey, he's a red retriever
He woofs,"what's the fuss? cool! you can brush my fur!"
Now there is only inches to spare, i'm not going anywhere!
Oh no, here's rose the st bernard, can't see its all a furry blur!
Sam thinks it's funny to run off with some drying underware
Doggie drool on my nose now, i'm not overproud i don't care,
Two dog's in the tub, ack! such a crowded affair! i declare!
If you could see us six in the there you'd have to laugh n' stare!!!

Lmaox2, My sides still hurt,
I know what it is liked to be surrounded in dogs, I used to work on a farm and during the yearly muster it got abit confusing with 20+dogs about trying to all do the same thing, but the way they feel it should be done lol.
I loved this poem LadyFawn it bought back some funny memories, thanks for reminding me how to laugh.

I must try to emulate
the very state that you relate..
Not used to this kind of faction
I'll start with pups for less reaction

You have to know your poem's a gem

This was cute and funny. I have a 4 pound Chihuahua, I'd need like 150 Chihuahuas to have 600 pounds of them, lol.

Hahaha!!! Now here's a laugh! You have roughly 400 more pounds of dog in your house than I do, but I can still relate! Lol. Dog's growling at themselves in the mirror is something that always cracks me up. Or when they look out the window and catch their own reflection...*grrrrrr* Haha. One of my dog's can't be trusted alone for even two minutes with a roll of toilet paper. Apparently it is the tastiest snack.

Good thing they're so darn cute!!! :D

Thanks for the laugh. Much appreciated.
