You're moving in with your girlfriend and many people have congratulated you.
You've asked me to do the same but that is something I can't and won't do.
I won't congratulate you because you and your girlfriend will be living in sin.
I won't condone premarital sex, don't ask for my congratulations ever again.
Yes I have old fashioned morals that you consider to be out of date.
I won't congratulate you because you're doing something that God hates.

I used to live in sin. There were wonderful moments and memories involved, but it did not last. Perhaps that is why we get married as that contract in church before God, and the Love the couple share makes the bond official and strong.
Sometimes, people do this because they are not ready to get married, or are not sure? Afraid of commitment.
However, currently in Australia 20% of children are born to NON PATERNAL parents and in the U S A 25%. that is a high number.
1 in 5. The fathers never know they are raising someone else's child. Reflect on this.

I fully appreciate your stance and your devotion.
Others wish for approval, when sometimes we cannot in good conscience give it.
As we live with our decisions, so must others.
As we make our choices, so do others.
It is unfair to expect that we endorse what we cannot.
God forgives; so that you and I do not have to.
