what a beautiful day

what a beautiful day. (lyrics)
__ __ __ __ __ __ __

don't want a pulse, don't wanna bleed
don't want to water this evil little seed
don't want the old me back
don't want the new me here
don't want to admit i am my only fear
don't want to get up
don't want to rise
don't want to cash in these coins on my eyes
don't want resurrection
don't want another chance
don't want your empty pity or your condescending glance
don't want no marker on my grave, want no eulogy
don't want to hear the gravedigger whistle as she buries me

do not want to sacrifice my skin

do not want to start again

(chorus)

keep your worthless kisses, they don't mean a thing to me
but give me back my wishes and get out of my dreams

keep your empty arms away, go find another fiend
spend your days and waste your lies unfocused and unseen

keep the core that you tore from me, gut feeling-gone. unstuck.
the same ole same old entrails and the last of all my luck

what a beautiful day...to watch it all fall apart.

I like the use of "she" to describe the gravedigger. I sense a feeling of significance with that.

On top of that, I gotta say that I like the way it gives off a sort of "I'm my own worst enemy", but in a manner that's not so trivial and commonplace. Then towards the end, *censored* gets real.

Great write.
Very slick indeed!
