LoveRemembered

I can still taste it
After all this time,
When I think of it,
Like just moments before
It landed on my lips.
A flavor to be savored,
A memory, each one,
To be forever treasured.
Quite dismal my life would be,
If ever memory fades
And slips away,
For I could not live
Not knowing the taste
Of your kiss.

Well put.
Strange how certain memories can flood back or remain.
Sometimes years later when we realize that we missed certain people or events we shared with them. |
