my own shade

The is more darkness
inside lost in invisible
ink
deeper than swallowing
nights existence her unpredictable
foundation
rests under covers behind shadows
next to the way down on top of left
behind
with the soft solace of my own shade
the abandon of yellow and orange.

"next to the way down on top of left
behind"
Super cool line here.
More brilliance to light the darkness life hurls.

"With the soft solace of my own shade the abandon of yellow and orange"
Color and sound have healing powers. Yours surely do!
I picture you at the window with the nighttime sky lighting your canvas as you create swirls of yellow and orange; the colors of a soul that has overcome and knows of their own joy.
You have set me to thinking -- what color am I?
A lovely chant you have written to dispel the darkness and start the day!
