A Tender Situation

I felt the pull of destiny
the day you passed my way
and
though you'll never know it lady
I just can't get enough,
this tender situation
is making me crazy
there is someone else you love,
though we flow so good together
there's to much in the way to make it work
but all I know
the sensation of love is strong.
All day I'm thinking about you
I wonder what you're thinking
when you are alone,
at night I'm dreaming about you
together
we tremble melt and flow,
and
love crescendos
in a field of moans.
Even Though
I know
that I can not be with you,
all I want to
is
be with you.

So well expressed. There is more passion in loving than being loved. But, yes, unrequited love is such a powerful and all-consuming emotion. |

Considering the reference to unrequited love, I have a poem to suggest of my own after my comment.
"Love crescendos
In a field of moans"
This I really liked. Beautiful. Powerful. Breathtaking. So imaginative, and so much left for more to the mind as to the sight.
The end has a slowing of a song abruptly easing the tempo like a school bus slowing to the stop. The brakes screech, and the shrill sound echoes out, shrill to those who don't know it, but to those whose vehicles have that same braking system, it fills the heart with a swelling of acceptance and understanding. It shows us just how familiar our pain is and was in our imagination, and it helps us, to better realize what others are facing, and provide them with empathy_unknown to offer a helping hand in the application of a bandage to their heart's gash-like wound.
My friend, I thank you for sharing with us this write. :)
-Mark
P.s. The poem I suggest is "Tulips by the Trees". It's lengthy, but it makes a good story, and it should be found on I believe page three. :) |
