Little girl of nineteen,
might be shy but also keen
She walked to class
with her head held high
Waved and smiled
to passersby
But, then one day
out of the blue
She stopped smiling
and lost both her shoes
She felt that life
had done her wrong
So, the only choice
was to get gone
She walked slowly
away from her life,
The very one that caused
so much pain and strife
Ran to the outskirts of the woods
where she once lived
And prayed to god
and asked to forgive,
Forgive the people
that did her harm,
The people that lured her
with their charm,
And, last but not least
forgive her mom
Forgive her for not being there,
for being wild and reckless,
For she did not care.
After, she forgave
she walked back to house
What with no shoes on,
she was quieter than a mouse
She laid down all snuggly in her bed,
and hoped in the morning
That she wouldn't be dead.

A strangely sad yet happy tone, switches through this. Happy start to a bit of concern, then hinted with a tinge of darkness, but then it returns to a possibly happy end.
The reason why I say "possibly", is because I think that there is a certain level of vagueness in this, as there is with everything, and how you choose to observe it, or rather how it is you do, can ultimately change this as well as many other mediums of art like it. I think, after such a long trip, and with feet as sore as hers must be, that snugly bed is much deserved. :)
Nicely done. :) |

"But, then one day
out of the blue
She stopped smiling"
Nothing as tragic as that happens "out of the blue".
Worth exploring.
Where is pt. 1,2,3? Is there a part 5?
