  Social

is this slow enough, buddy

Contributed by ming on Sunday, 4th October 2015 @ 11:52:45 AM in AEST
Topic: abstract

words move
inky against
the white

should
the utterance
be an undoing

with the tug
of the first letter/feel

brimming with
the unsaid

instead I go cubist
my words tectonic

and akimbo
and if needed

to climb
dropping notes

pen wide open
to all the alchemy

in MY world
where even 'they"

can't smash
ideas shooting

strings of gray matter
and laying my epiphany/page/poem

while kneeling in my heart
getting at the wall

with a ball-point/ball-peen
hammer/pen

valves still
opening and closing

laughing whisper-smoke
messages I...I am...I am different.

Quite brilliant. I had a flush of emotion reading this. It was like chalk and cheese snuggled up on a sofa watching old movies. I get you, buddy, and impressed I am. We must be ourselves, whatever that might be. If we don't put our heads above the parapet, we'd never be shot at, and what's the point of that?

Your self description finds elements of bittersweet; violence; separation; and tornados of thoughts that will be flung with a hammer/pen no doubt! To capture the "whisper-smoke messages" we must accept our uniqueness; blood and all..and embrace the wisdom as well as the insanity.
You have said it so much better than I have ever heard it expressed.

This is just pure brilliance.
If I look directly at it I fear I'd go blind.

Really, really, superb write,
Mickey.
