Yes, the shark comes;
Yes, we are all chum in those dead eyes,
But,
we all love,
we all have dreams, needs to realize.
And does the shark care?
No.
Should it matter to us?
No.
We need to go on, be weary,
but persue as if there is no shark.
Every dawn brings light-
Every night brings dark.

My friend, we need to poke that shark straight in his black eye. And we can overcome the darkness.

Yes. the shark gives us impetus, as well as closure.

Live with impunity!
If we care what others think, we give our power to them. We need to live among others; not because of them.
Your poem reminds us of a significant passage we must all cross.
As children we are fearless.
Yet the moment we hesitate to gather our courage, is the same moment we leave our childhood behind us. |
