Where is that d amn thing?
By Who or how did I get this function
added at the programmer's table?
This lens that sees all through filters
of words;
translating mundane to extraordinary
with equal measure.
Enthusiasm gushing for what most step on and crush on their way to oblivious ends.
For once, I would enjoy seeing a horsefly as a horsefly.
I could take the bite but run from true amends.

I like the second half of it in what it really has to say about us as humanity, and the first part I like because of its metaphor for thought, but the first line throws me off with it.
And for some reason it made more sense to me to read it, and then a reverse reading strangely. |

Interesting metaphor, it does not quite make sense to me but reminds me of interests and end points. |
