Touched My Soul

Contributed by blknwht on Thursday, 17th September 2015 @ 02:51:19 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Most of the time
I write what's in my head
There are sometimes I write
About me being dead

There is one person
Who keeps positivity in my soul
She is a Beautiful Angel
She is a Beautiful Soul

But now that she gone
I'm left standing alone
I keep trying to call
But can't get a dial tone

Forgetting her will be hard
As I feel that we were meant to be
To move on from that feeling
Will be the hardest thing for me

You touched my soul
In a way no one ever could
You touched me so deep
Made me feel nothing but good

I'll always remember you
As the one who got away
I'll always miss your loving touch
I'll always wish that you could of stayed

Sometimes we don't appreciate what we had until it is no longer around.
We all make mistakes, but if someone has positively influenced your life you should let them know.

Words are powerful, and can cut deeper than any weapon. They also can make someone's day, or even save a life, but there must be a course of action that follows.

Good luck. Be thankful for the lessons you learned with that special person.

Thanks for sharing your poem. Keep up the writes.
