Topic: oops

You attacked me
your brutal words inflicted pain
You spoke out of emotion
it was as if you were insane

Always so meek
keeping your emotions intact
Today you are a different person
that is a certain fact

Maybe you’re not insane
perhaps you just couldn’t take any more
Then with something I did or said
I wasn’t prepared for what was in store

The sudden impact
of those vial words you said to me
I try hard to imagine
but no wrong do I see

I am sorry if I offended you
causing emotion and torment
I somehow realize
those cruel words were you wanting to vent

I will just let you be
in your own time you will heal
I still love you
and know exactly how you feel

You are a wonderful person
I know you did not mean to hurt me
You were just over loaded
and some things you just could not see
