Torment And Anger

Contributed by waynster on Tuesday, 15th September 2015 @ 04:38:55 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

It hides deep within me
within the depths, where lies my soul
Anger feeds its emotions
eventually taking its toll

All passion lost
a lust for something grows within
Trying to remain in control
my nerves become very thin

I walk on thin ice
a wreck I have become
Torn with frustration
my heart is beating like a drum

How to control this
my mind at this moment has no clue
My words speak the truth
my soul is reaching for you

Disturbing news to my ears
which my soul did not need to hear
From its mixed emotions
I can feel my inner body tear

Deep within side
where I keep my angered emotions at bay
My soul swims within it
and sometimes I can’t help what I say

Absurd torment
a monster, my soul does become
No remorse for my emotions
because of actions, of others so dumb

Great write... I could absolutely feel where you're coming from. I am in a similar situation and I must say your words hit deep. Remind me of some of my writing but I just started a month ago.

Keep writing good luck

Thanks for sharing
