Pierced By A Sword

Contributed by waynster on Tuesday, 15th September 2015 @ 03:45:01 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Today I feel the pain
of a mighty sword piercing my heart
People in this world
starved until this world they depart

Fury within me
burns hotter than any flame
The people responsible
do not have an ounce of shame

How could a human being
say that starving another is the best way
If they continue to feed that person
they could live another day

God is the creator
he giveth and taketh away
When it’s a person’s time to go
it’s not according to what any doctor has to say

This sword hurts me plenty
my heart so burdened with pain
I feel it tearing on the inside
as my blood pours from every vein

Some people have no compassion
remorse they cannot feel
All hell is about to break loose
as they stick me with this sword of steel

I have compassion
a humanitarian I am at best
There is remorse for your decisions
of starving a person and laying them to rest

Wow... another brilliant poem and describe your feelings loud and clear. Again, reminds me of some of my poems in regards to my lost love.

Great write $

This is pretty good. It has made me think about some issues that I have in which I will soon adress
