another memory that is hard to remember

i know that soon your face will be another memory
how i fear that day because it is already here
this could quite possibly be the end of me
im not sure i have the strength to cry another tear
for a love i only believe enough in to just let it slip away
like all the words i can write and never have the strength to say
i will always be a coward and my happiest years are behind me
I'll be more alone now that i have ever been
you could be the one to save me.
that is if you had not already forgotten me.

this is beautiful - i like the links between memories and forgetting. as for jessica, she needs to read these poems - she needs to know whats in your heart. i hope she gets the chance to. keep writing, Kate x
