Sailing in your dreams

Contributed by FireStarter on Wednesday, 9th September 2015 @ 03:47:23 PM in AEST
Topic: insomniac

pale blue sky
turned into a pretty sunset

tried to woo me,
my feet you have swept

bought me flowers and candy
and soon we set sail

now I've set the scene
I'll tell you my tale,

We sailed down the river
and through the red woods
he pulled out some flowers
and said they smelled good
He wanted me to have them
as a present to me
I said he was kind,
as sweet as could be
He took that as a compliment
and smiled wide
I couldn't stop blushing,
no matter how hard I tried
He walked me down to the front of the boat
pushed me overboard and said I hope you can float,
As I looked up at him
he sneered at me
Said I was useless,
you should wake up from your dream

so, now here I am
laying in bed

at least I'm not floating
drifting for dead

i'm not sailing out on a stream
I just got rick-rolled by my own freakin dream
