Does anyone really see?

Can anyone hear my voice
out there?
Does anyone see the pain,
does anyone care?
Does anyone see my smile
as a disguise?
Does anyone feel like
i'm cutting ties?
Does anyone see that
I plan to escape?
Can anyone foresee the
risks that I'll take?
Does anyone really see me?

Nice write. Quaint with a good flow!
Those are the questions we all ask ourselves!

A lament of isolation. A fitting reminder that we are all alone on this journey to some extent.
May I suggest that if you want to be known;
notice someone else.
You are waiting for someone to notice you.
So is everyone else.
Build a bridge to someone, and doors will open. But first you must invest in another.

The closed door hides the treasure on the other side.
Crack the door a little...not easy, I know. You do so here, but to strangers, even though.
A real hand, a real face, real lips. There's a set out there looking for you- both of you, it's just neither one of you has found the other yet, but as sure as the sun sets, it's gonna happen.
Soon I hope, for your happiness.
