Dancing, playing, sighing, raging
hiding, gauging, briving, craving
clawing, learning, buying, facing
dawning, 'during, rising, changing
sixteen words abroad in cleft
hidden meaning holding breath
jestering alone we cry
contemplating alibis
dueling swords now urging on
tongues twisting in the morn
abreast like geese we all fly south
crosswise rows of life we plow
Pathways turned unto their sides
up side down our world resides
lightbulbs light ideas create
meanings form we contemplate
sixteen words I write here now
like puzzles to a hidden vow
how we long to understand
only doing comprehends

I find a humor on the interior of this poem that I particularly enjoy.
It seems serious yet light hearted.
Well played, friend.

There is definitely something hidden here...or is there?
Smooth, flowing, enjoyable. Me likes.
Thanks,

I don't comprehend the doings of this poem. I'm sorry but I can't get the rythym. Like a deaf guy playing the drums. |

"abreast like geese we all fly south;
crosswise rows of life we plow!"
We are not as different as we want to be, and the only way to know is to do.
Enlightem me, I cannot find "briving" in the dictionary?
