I don't need your flattery or your charms
I don't need gifts
I need time
Time out of your day
Focused on one another with no distractions
No TV, no phone, no other people
I want deep conversation and tea
I want warm cuddles with kisses
I want you to hug me tightly with no need for words
I want to stand on the top of the world with your hand in mine and my dog at our feet
Breathing in mountain air
I want adventure
Adventure creating smiles stretched across our faces and love in our eyes
Time is what I want
Give me that and I swear I will be yours forever
Don't let us die

I like the lack of innuendoes in your poem
While this is romantic love there is a universal presence in your poem. That makes your poem stand out from most that I have read. |

As Archie said, "there's a universal presence in your poem." I feel that's what I was thinking but he says it better.
