Introduction 1: This poem is based on a fictional history of Amphrasia. I will explain parts of it in introduction 2
You might know this better as Romero's Quest
This is an obscure portion of the story and mythos.
Introduction 2: After the book burning of 929 BT (Before Tyraus) the people slowly began to accept the history that king Darius IX
had instituted for them. By 979 BT the history of the founding of the human nations was all but forgotten, except
by a few historians. If it were discovered that they had held back books from the burning they would have
been put to death.
This is the span of history
This is the span of time
Nothing is left to rigidity
Nothing is left for to find
Books burned to cover the evidence
Cities built on the ruins of old
Stories told through the centuries
Fade like the flowers that fold
Found on a pillar at the entrance to the Patralkan Library 2031 MT (Modern Times)
The Patralkan Library was built under the catacombs of Cyregon more than 2000 years ago.
It was founded to keep the truth from being lost.
Patralkas was a historian in the five towns until his death in 1012 BT (935-1012)
I Plan on spanning 1000's of years of poetry and relics in Romero's Quest
A relic is a obelisk or piece of crumbled wall (ex.) that is from a different epoch.

this is very concise
at its heart all life beats brevity
but the future's never fixed
therefore history finds itself
remade each time its being retold
the wise say, oh, don't ask why
the murmur in the whiskey bar
with drunks smiling looking out
as though real things are happening in their imaginary
eye when very clearly they are not to the sober ones
And yet still, mysticism, legions of legendary myth
still survive
This is absolutely great!
