A Worthy Trade

There's only so many dreams I can follow,
so many hours in my life....
I'll never climb Everest, or walk Sleepy Hollow,
but I'll always wake up with my wife...
And I'll trade all the richness; a mountain of dreams,
just to have my baby, standing by me...
I'll let the world go, and see it through books,
if I can gaze in her eyes, to see how love looks.
And the trade off is worth it,
all those dreams for the now;
I'll live them in pictures,
but the years, they can plough,
under the burden, of keeping life real,
but her love is worth it; a trade-worthy deal.

Great write.
Seems never a middle ground. Either you love or
hate the one you're with..........!
You're lucky indeed.
