strangely fold
the hours
paper-thin
a lonesome girl
stars wink
through
the mirror
of her heart
a luna moth
settles
for
a moment
there is
dead silence
and greed
for better wonders.

nicely written. as humans, whatever each situation is, we are never satisfied...we are always looking for more it seems...
"there is dead silence
and greed for better wonders."
loved these lines..such a greedy race we are that we take for-granted the beauty in everything, as we continue to search for so much more...then when we find what we have searched for we either can't see it, or it's not what we wanted after all, and so the journey continues. |
